CypherHippie Ark

Webpsy is a public network where Cyberpunks, Zomiahippies, Cryptonomads, Digital artists, Geek engineers, Data proletarians, Independent creators, Star Seed, community citizens, and multiple species reside together. 📟 also experiments with a myriad of cosmic energies, creating a shelter for healing and transcendence, fostering empathy and unity. 📟 is a Dyson Sphere for galactic nomads. Crafted with a delightful blend of caffeine, alcohol, and alkaloids, the UNI time machine transcends the long pathway of media archaeology and technology liberation, paving the spacetime unfolding into an infinite spiral.

Webpsy labs is community protocol at the intersection of the crypto industry, academia, and the arts, it is composed of diverse groups including engineers, researchers, and artists. Explore community practices aimed at achieving a harmonious and sustainable technological and social ecosystem.

The theme for this issue's Cosmic Exploration Day in Chiang Mai is centered on "Zomia Solarpunk," a vision of a utopian society where technology and social structures are spread out across the mountainous regions of Southeast Asia. UNIC'll delve into various elements that embody the spirit of distributed potential and futuristic visions: from the fungi in tropical rainforests and the indigenous people of Zomia, to the overseas Chinese communities in the South Nanyang region, the hippie movements of the 20th century, advancements in Web3 and AI technologies. These elements are tied together by themes of diversity, community support, decentralized networks, anonymity, freedom from domination, diminishing centralized power, and the pursuit of a new utopia. The concept of Zomia, as discussed by anthropologist James C. Scott in his work "The Art of Not Being Governed," describes tribes living in the mountainous borderlands as a space of refuge from the control of lowland agricultural societies. These areas, shaped by the collision of tectonic plates, offer a sanctuary from conflicts, forced labor, and taxes. The cultural and agricultural practices of these highland communities are intentionally decentralized to avoid assimilation into more dominant, centralized systems, much like the Fremen in "Dune" who follow ancient prophecies. David Graeber points out that the most innovative social experiments often occur in these "interstitial spaces" that lie outside of state control. Solarpunk, born from the imaginations of sci-fi authors in the 21st century, paints a picture of an ideal future where technology leads to a harmonious balance with nature and fosters a fair society. Chiang Mai, with its rich biodiversity and history of attracting global nomads, from hippies to digital wanderers, stands as a beacon of this solarpunk dream, a place where the spirit of freedom and innovation continues to thrive.
